History of Sri Siddhivinayak Temple Rejinthal:
Once there was a thick forest, a tourist named Shivaram Pantulu came to Rejinthal covering many temples and other places. Once he reached this place he felt very happy from the inner soul so he lived for a few days in meditation. During meditation, the Lord appeared and ordered to build a temple and perform daily rituals.
In this temple, sankata Chaturthi is celebrated as one of the famous rituals. After performing this ritual devotees believe that the lord will remove all kinds of obstacles and bless them with a peaceful life. If Sankashtahara Chaturthi and Tuesday come on the same day then it is believed to be an auspicious day and we find the temple overcrowded with devotees. Also on Vinayaka Chavithi, we find special poojas.
Every year from pushya suddha padyam to pushya suddha chaturthi Sri Siddhivinayak birthday celebrations are performed. During this celebration, devotees perform rituals with sahasra modakas and 451 Ganesh Havana’s, shata chandi Havana, sapatha Lakshmi Ganapathi Havana’s.
